About the artist

Hi!! My name is Alena (Alu) Brtková. I was born and raised in the Sudetenland area of the Czech Republic, and I am a starting printmaker and photographer in junior year of high school.

My work is inspired mostly by everyday life, things I love, people I love, or simply by stuff that feels right. I love to have artistic freedom and go with the flow. Overall, I have been through 7 years of artistic education, currently attending the Idyllwild Arts Academy. After high school, I am planning to continue my artistic career in College, definitely focusing on photography, and establishing it as my main medium.
